It was unanimous: from a total of 2,808 entries originating from 39 different countries, the panel of international experts awarded the label for excellent design 802 times. During the jury’s session from November 18-20, 2008 at the exhibition grounds in Hanover, judges discussed, assessed and voted on the submissions with a watchful eye on the demands of good design.
“This year we were once again pleased with the keen response throughout the world to the iF product design award. Not only were there a great number of entries but also the diversity within the individual categories increased. Technical innovations come to us from different countries all over the world, guaranteeing quality and a broad range of competition,” explains Ralph Wiegmann, iF Managing Director.
