ErgoGrip safety tip
Approx. 30% of all accidents are cut and
stab wounds sustained when working with hand knives. Around half of these cut
and stab wounds are caused to the hands and arms. To improve this situation,
the BGN (German Employers’ Liability Insurance Association for Food and
Catering) now recommends the use of knives tailored to specific working needs
as well as suitable “personal protective equipment”.
