Are you ready for the WORLD BUTCHERS CHALLENGE? Take part now and challenge your colleagues!

Prove your skills, challenge your colleagues and compete with the best!  In a few weeks, the most talented butchers from all over the world will meet at the ‘World Butchers’ Challenge’ in Paris. We are taking this as an opportunity to celebrate the craft and launch our own challenge!

 

The challenge:

Show us how to debone a pork shoulder as quickly and cleanly as possible! So it's not just about speed, but also about working cleanly.

Participation is super easy:

Post your video under the hashtag #FDICKDeboningChallenge, challenge two butcher colleagues and take part in our challenge! Each participant will receive a HEKTOR Butchers knife from the Red Spirit series as a thank you for taking part! A special gift awaits the winner: they will not only receive a limited edition F. DICK cleaver - presented to them personally - but also an F. DICK butcher's kit worth 300 euros!

Requirements for your video:

  • Video in reel format (portrait format). The video is filmed from the left, preferably by a colleague. 
  • At the beginning of the video, the knife and pork houlder are on the table. The protective glove and apron are in place. The measured time begins when the knife is gripped.
  • The time ends when the knife is placed back on the table.
  • At the end of the video, the bones must be filmed from all sides.
  • The periosteum on the shoulder blade may remain on the bone.
  • The closing date for entries is 30/05/2025.
