YOUR EFFICIENCY. YOUR BUTCHER'S KNIVES

The butcher's knife is the common designation given to knives for professional use in the slaughtering, cutting and processing of meat. There are a variety of different knife shapes with their own designations, each designed for specific uses.

Butcher's knives are the most important tools of the trade for butchers and related meat processing professions, and a selection of different types of knives is part of any basic equipment. High-quality butcher's knives must be very sharp, durable and resilient as well as having all the necessary safety features, such as an ergonomically shaped handle with finger guard. It must also comply with the hygienic food law requirements.

All our butcher's knives can be easily sharpened with a sharpening steel or knife sharpener. We offer a coordinated range of sharpening steels and knife sharpeners for different requirements, purposes and knife series.

PROPER CARE AND CLEANING OF BUTCHER'S KNIVES

Our knives are fundamentally rust-resistant; however it all depends on the right care. The butcher's knives are suitable for cleaning in the dishwasher and also in sterilisers at temperatures of up to 130°C. We recommend immediate cleaning with a mild alkaline-based cleaning agent that does not contain any acid that could damage the blade.

For safe storage, we recommend the knife hygiene box. It offers the possibility of personalisation and can be locked. When transporting and cleaning the knives, it prevents injuries from cutting and stabbing. Magnetic rails are another storage option. These keep the knives within easy reach at all times. The ideal protection for the cutting edges also includes the Edge Guard blade guard, which is mainly used when the knives are stored in drawers.
