The German team of chefs from the Association of German Chefs e. V. (VKD), consisting of the national team and the national youth team, represents the chef profession in public and regards itself as a model for young chefs. They value regional and seasonal cuisine. They have taken up the cause of values such as sustainability and conscious action.
